Activity is an important component in life due to its benefits to both physical and mental health. Since
the very early age, girls could be advised to practice sports activities, especially aerobic ones, while it is
recommended to continue with recreational physical activities throughout life. During pregnancy, but
also senium, women are advised to practice easy to medium intensity exercises such as walking, yoga,
slow swimming. Kegel exercises are especially important for maintenance of pelvic floor muscles.
